Here you will find all information about how to shop at La Chance ApS, including the sales and delivery conditions that apply to all deliveries from La Chance.

GENERAL ABOUT PURCHASES AT La Chance:

At http://www.lachance.dk/ you can order items via our Online Shop.

Buying online is easy and simple, and you will be guided through all phases of the purchase. You can shop freely without logging in / registering, and you must only state your name and address when the purchase is completed.

You can order items from La Chance in the following ways:

All prices on the website are stated in Danish kroner including VAT or in Euro when entering outside Denmark (unless another language layer is chosen).

We make reservations for wrong price or sold out items, based on human error.

When ordering items through our website, you must be aware of the terms in the sections below.

 

SECURE PAYMENT ONLINE

At http://www.lachance.dk/ you can pay with the following credit cards: Dankort, Visa / dankort, Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, Cirrus, JCB and American Express via PayPalor Stripe. 

La Chance does not charge a fee for payment by credit card at http://www.lachance.dk/

If you choose to pay by credit card, you must enter the card number, expiry date and check digits, which are the 3-digit number found in or around the signature field on the back of the card. Please note that it’s NOT the PIN code that must be entered.

If you pay by credit card, you are always protected against abuse. You have the option of rejecting a payment when you receive your payment summary. You have no deductible in the event that your card is misused in an online store that uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) in its payment system.

Data you send in connection with purchases paid for with payment cards is encrypted (SSL), and thus only PBS can read them. Neither http://www.lachance.dk/ nor others have the opportunity to read your data.

The amount for the goods is only deducted when the goods are sent from http://www.lachance.dk/ A larger amount can never be deducted than what you have approved at the time of purchase.

The transaction currency used is DKK unless another language layer is selected.

Payment can also be made by bank transfer to La Chance's bank account which is as follows: Nykredit, reg. No .: 5479 account no .: 001481875. From outside Denmar please use the followint: IBAN: DK4654790001481875 SWIFT: NYKBDKKK  La Chance does not charge any fees of any kind.

DELIVERY

Shipping takes place with Post Nord or Dao, and can be expected to arrive after 1-5 working days.

La Chance pays all shipping costs from store to customer, We deliver FREE SHIPPING in Denmark.

We strive for the delivery time to be usually within 3-5 working days (the jewelery is handmade per order in our workshop) and within 6 weeks if it’s an order item from the jeweler. If the item is backordered or there are other delivery difficulties, you will receive information via email about when delivery is possible.

Delivery in Denmark is free, as we choose to only sell via the webshop in Denmark. This ensures that the customer is buying a REAL La Chance jewelry!

Your parcels will be sent with Post Nord or Dao and will be delivered to a parcel shop in your area.

Your order will be sent as soon as possible and no later than within 3-5 working days - unless you have requested later delivery. Should delivery unexpectedly be delayed, you will be contacted by us.

 

NOTE: around Christmas, school holidays or the like, there may be longer processing time. We recommend that you order Christmas gifts well in advance if you want to guarantee to have them before Christmas Eve.

If you want delivery of the package on a specific date, we will send the package from our online shop the day before the desired delivery date. Timely delivery presupposes that you have ordered your goods at least 3 working days before you want delivery. In addition, timely delivery presupposes that Post Danmark complies with day-to-day delivery. La Chance cannot be held responsible for delays with the carrier, weather conditions, inadequate delivery from third parties and other external influences.

At present we do not deliver goods on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Shipping fee overview:

Regular delivery in Denmark, freight free

Orders with delivery to another EU country are added freight of DKK 300.00 DKK.

Delivery to countries outside the EU is subject to the customs and VAT settlement of that country. Shipping according to current FedEx Express rates.

La Chance is not liable if a wrong address is provided when ordering and this results in the loss of the shipment.

DAMAGED PACKAGE

If your package is damaged during delivery, a complaint must be made to Post Nord or DAO.

In case of visible damage, please refuse receipt. If the package has already been received, complaints must be made as soon as possible and preferably on the same day. Remember to receive with RESERVATIONS. Contact La Chance customer service at info@lachance.dk - and we will help with the complaint handling.

RETURNES

Private customers who shop on our webshop always have a 14 DAY FULL RIGHT OF RETURN. Exceptions to this are, however, diamond jewelery and other jewelery that is manufactured especially at the customer's request, after which the right of return lapses.

The 14 days apply from the day you receive the item, and we must receive the item no later than 14 days thereafter.

When returning the jewelery, the item must be in the same condition as upon receipt. The jewelry must not have been used. If there is evidence that the jewelery has been used, the right of return lapses.

You should also be aware that the original packaging typically represents a value, and the original packaging must also be returned. It’s a requirement for the return of the item that it is sent by registered parcel post. This eliminates any doubt as to whether the shipment has been received at La Chance.

The shipping costs associated with this will not be returned.

When using the right of return, La Chance reimburses the full amount, however, excluding shipping costs.

You must enclose a copy of your purchase invoice.

Make sure to include information in the package with a clear sender name, address  and contact number and the reason for the return.

You can also cancel by handing the item in person at the above address, by prior arrangement.

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Act § 12c.2. La Chance willnrefund for the returned goods within 30 days. Of course, you can not get paid more than what is stated on the invoice.

This is done by transfer to your bank, or by MobilePay, once we have received the item back and checked that it complies with the rules of the right of withdrawal. It’s therefore important that we are informed of your registration number and account number.

It’s not a requirement, but the expedition is promoted if adequate information accompanies the package - for example, a copy of the order confirmation, registration number and account number for the bank account, to which a refund can take place, a copy of any prior correspondence, etc.

Please note - we do not accept packages sent to us per cash on delivery.

It’s always a good idea to store the original packaging until you have figured out whether you want to keep what you bought or not. The packaging means that the sales value of the product deteriorates and thus the right of withdrawal can not be exercised.

If an item is purchased in La Chance's showroom, the agreement is not covered by the law's rules on distance selling goods, but is instead covered by the general provisions of the Purchase Act, which is why the right of return cannot be enforced. Objections to any deficiencies must then be made at the transfer.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Reservations are made for price increases, tax changes, currency changes, sold-out / discontinued items and typing errors.

COMPLAINT

If there are errors or defects in the item, you can complain to us at info@lachance.dk.

You have a 2-year right of complaint from the day the item is received.

However, it’s a prerequisite that these defects or deficiencies have not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other harmful behavior that has led to the defect. Ordinary wear and tear on a gold-plated item is not a defect in the product, but ordinary wear and tear. You must complain within a reasonable time after you have found the defect. If you complain within 2 months, the complaint is always considered to be timely. We reserve the right to remedy a defect / replace with an undamaged item rather than pay the purchase price back. Ie. your item will be repaired, or you will receive a new item as a replacement for the one complained about, if your complaint is justified

Remember to save your receipt.

We will reimburse reasonable shipping costs that you may have in connection with the return of the item when the complaint is justified. When you want to advertise a product, it must be submitted to us at our address:

If you have an item you send back, call or send us an email so we know it’s on its way.

When you return the item, please provide a description of the defect.

Please note - we do not accept packages sent to us per. cash on delivery or otherwise.

Always remember to send the item back in proper packaging, and get a receipt for shipment so that we can refund you your costs.

COMPLAINTS ON ITEMS THAT DO NOT CONTAIN ERRORS:

La Chance sometimes receives products that are listed as defective but do not contain defects or have been used incorrectly. If we receive such an item return where defective or defective, defined on the defective item description, the item will be returned to the customer including a fee for our time spent on testing, troubleshooting and handling the case and shipping costs. Our fee is calculated per. half an hour used for DKK 250 + VAT.

PERSONAL DATA POLICY

At http://www.lachance.dk/ cookies are used.

Log statistics are used at http://www.lachance.dk/ and mean that a statistics system collects information that can give a statistical picture of how many visitors a website has had.

At http://www.lachance.dk/ log statistics are used for the purpose of optimizing the website and its functionality.

No e-mail advertisements or the like are sent from La Chance, but we offer a newsletter that you must sign up for yourself if you want to receive it.

YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

In order to enter into an agreement with us via the website, you must register with the following personal information:

Address
Postcode and city
Phone number
Email address 

We make the registration of your personal information for the purpose of being able to deliver the item to you.

The personal information is registered with La Chance ApS and stored for 5 years in accordance with requirements from the Accounting Act, after which the information is deleted. 

When personal information is collected via our website, we ensure that it’s always done by giving your express consent, so that you are informed about exactly what information is collected and why.

 

We do not store customer information encrypted.

We do not transmit customer information encrypted.

 

Information submitted to http://www.lachance.dk/ is not passed on or sold in any way to third parties, and we do not register any personally sensitive information.

As registered with La Chance, you always have the right to object to the registration. You also have the right to insight into what information is registered about you. You have these rights according to the Personal Data Act and inquiries in connection with this are directed to La Chance via e-mail to info@lachance.dk

CHOICE OF LAW AND JURISDICTION

Any dispute is settled in accordance with Danish law by the ordinary courts in Lyngby.

MAINTENANCE OF YOUR JEWELERY (for the warranty to apply):

In order for you to keep your jewelry beautiful, it’s important that you treat them carefully and carefully.

  • Always store your jewelry in an airtight bag so that they retain their original color and shine
  • Please remove the jewelery while washing hands, taking a bath, swimming or using body products such as perfume, lotion, hair spray or other chemicals, as these may damage the surface of the jewelery and loosen glued crystals.
  • Always wear jewelry at the end when you get dressed and take them off first when you get undressed.
  • Avoid bumping the jewelry against hard objects and surfaces that can scratch or make marks and strike crystals.

Carefully clean the jewelry with a soft damp cloth or gently clean between stones with a soft toothbrush.

  • Always take off your jewelery when you go to sleep, exercise or work in the garden and the like.

All La Chance jewelery is nickel and lead free according to current EU rules.

NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR

All IP Plated and wet plated metal parts in the colors Gold, Silver and Gun, have a surface treatment on top of a base metal, which gives the color. This one will wear off over time, just like a gilding. The durability depends, among other things, on how much acid the person has in the skin, whether the metal parts are exposed to perfume and creams (body lotion), as well as humidity and temperature and how to care for your jewelery in everyday life.

The ceramic animals in the Happiness Bracelets are made of lead-free clay and are all hand-painted with lead-free paint. The paint will lose color over time as they are painted with eco-friendly paint, just as the gold staffings on the animals' surface will wear off over time as they are painted on the surface.

All pearls are gemstones or natural materials. They can naturally differ in color and structure from delivery to delivery. Likewise, both natural gemstones and colored stones can fade when exposed to sunlight and chemicals in everyday life (perfumes, creams, soaps, etc.)

Stones that have a rough surface will discolour more quickly than smooth stones, as particles can settle into the material. This applies to, among other things, bone beads, raw foam coral, lava stones, acid agate, raw jasper and more. Most often, the problem can be remedied with a gentle cleaning with a little sulfo on a soft toothbrush. Beware of metal parts with crystals, they can not withstand this treatment!

Neon Beads have a special rubber surface with fluorescent / neon particles. These will fade with time when exposed to daylight!

We only use crystals of the highest quality made of Bohemian crystal in the Czech Republic. These are lead free crystals that are fully cut and in top quality!

All crystals are hand-glued to the metal parts, and if there are repeated blows against a metal part, against a table, for example, the glue may crack over time and the crystal may fall out. This is normal wear and tear. We are happy to help glue new crystals in!


You are always welcome to contact us if your jewelery wears out - we want to help you make them nice again! It’s important to us that you are happy with your jewelry and that you are happy when you go with them!

La Chance jewelry is, jewelry based on ancient philosophies and folk tales. La Chance merely passes on these, and can not guarantee that they will come true / function.

The jewelry is meant to be used as a tool to remind those who wear them to think positively and thereby change their outlook on life to a more positive view of all aspects of life.

The effect and healing properties of the gems are not documented, but merely further told stories found in the book "The Crystal Bible, A definitive guide to crystals, by Judy Hall" and on the Internet.

La Chance disclaims any responsibility for any purchased stone used for healing and spiritual use.
